Description - T248R Racing Wheel
The T248 racing wheel is designed for all gamers who value performance and a sense of immersion, want to break free from the keyboard, mouse, or controller, or hone their skills after starting their adventure with entry-level racing wheels. It is officially licensed for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 and is compatible with PC.
THRUSTMASTER INTERACTIVE DASHBOARD
The T248 racing wheel's built-in display offers over 20 different screens, allowing for manual adjustments to a range of settings (force feedback type, steering wheel angle, etc.) and displaying user-selected telemetry data (gear ratio, engine speed, best lap time, etc.).
DYNAMIC FORCE FEEDBACK
The T248 racing wheel offers three types of force feedback (including factory presets) that are compatible with all games and can be adjusted during racing directly on the wheel: FFB 1: The force feedback level is 100% proportional to the force requested by the game. FFB 2: The force feedback is amplified, providing better control during skidding. FFB 3: The force feedback is further enhanced, allowing the player to clearly feel all track effects (kerbs, slipping off the track, etc.). NEXT-GENERATION HYBRID DRIVE
With its extra power (up to 70% more than Thrustmaster's previous hybrid racing wheel, the T150), the T248 helps players dominate the race. The exceptional driving quality provided by the hybrid system avoids the unintuitive feel and friction issues typical of belt-driven racing wheels.
25 ACTION BUTTONS
With the two two-position encoders (up/down) located at the ends of the wheel's center spokes, the T248 features almost twice as many action buttons as previous Thrustmaster racing wheels (the T150 series). A wide selection of physical and virtual buttons allows users to assign controls with great flexibility, regardless of the game.
MAGNETIC PADDLE SHIFTERS
Thanks to H.E.A.R.T magnetic technology, the T248's paddle shifters enable exceptionally fast gear changes, and with a clearly felt and precise activation (with a response time of 30 ms), they help prevent driving errors. This proprietary technology, utilizing a contactless, and therefore completely frictionless, magnet system, also enables previously unattainable product lifespaneven during the most extended gaming sessions.
MAGNETIC PEDAL SET
In addition to truly exceptional precision down to a thousandth of a second, the T3PM magnetic pedal set also offers four brake pedal pressure modes. Perfectly smooth movement and no loss of precision over time (as is typical with pedal sets using potentiometers) make the T3PM a huge, impressive leap forward in both versatility and responsiveness for gaming.
