Description - The Fortis 5 is small, but can cool like an open fridge on a hot summer night. At its highest point, it is 15.9 cm long enough to keep the CPU cool and fit into a small PC case. Its focal point is the Fluctus 140 PWM fan, behind which the asymmetrical heatsink stands in combat readiness. With such a set-up you have silence, the best cooling performance, silence, optional semi-passive mode.... Did we already talk about silence? ;) The Fortis 5 is also compatible with popular RAM bases and memory, and thanks to the video instructions you'll be installing it in minutes even if it's your first ever installation. The Fortis 5 is so quiet that we had to check a few times during our tests to see if it was actually running. If you have excellent hearing, you might hear it during 3D rendering or technical simulations. The award-winning Fluctus 140 PWM fan with optional semi-passive mode is responsible for the airflow. Its blades have been profiled to sweep the densely stacked heatsink fins as accurately as possible. We have a theory that if it were to be enlarged sufficiently, another ice age would be unleashed on the world exemplary at lowering temperatures. On top of this, each is finished with a wavy edge to reduce the audibility of annoying noise (psychoacoustic optimisation of Fluctus fans is patent-pending). Coming winter asymmetric heatsink The Fortis 5 is 15.9 cm high, which is more than enough to keep the CPU cool. You can squeeze as much as the factory gave out of your computer for hours on end, and the processor will respond to your every click without lagging. The asymmetrical, densely-ribbed heatsink is the reason for the effective cooling, as it collects heat from the CPU. Its base is in contact with the processor surface and six heat pipes improve the collection of high temperatures. The Fortis 5 is also optimised for unidirectional airflow, ensuring the best cooling performance. Imagine the pulsating vein of envy that will jump out at your friends at the sight of such a combo!
