The drive is designed to make any attempt at physical tampering visible. It is also protected against password attacks using Brute Force and BadUSB methods thanks to digitally signed firmware. The alphanumeric keypad is coated with a polymer layer that protects the keys and prevents fingerprints from being guessed. The KP200 is equipped with a built-in battery that allows you to unlock it the first time without using software and then connect it to any device that supports USB Type-A or USB Type-C storage devices. This gives users maximum freedom to use the drive on multiple platforms with different operating systems. The Multi-PIN (Administrator and User PIN) feature allows you to set easy-to-remember but hard-to-guess alphanumeric PINs for both Administrator and User accounts. The administrator can restore the user PIN and provide access to the drive in the event that the user forgets the PIN or locks the drive after the user has tried to log in for the maximum of 10 times. When both the administrator and user PINs are enabled, the KP200 locks the user PIN after 10 consecutive failed login attempts. If the administrator PIN is entered incorrectly 10 times, the Brute Force Protection feature cryptographically erases the drive, permanently deleting the data, and resetting the device. The drive also offers two levels of read-only (write-protected) mode: general mode, which can be set by the administrator, and session mode, which can be set by the user. The read-only modes protect the drive from malware on untrusted systems. Additionally, the administrator can upload content and set the drive to general read-only mode, allowing the user to access the data but not make changes. The KP200C offers fast dual-channel performance in capacities from 64GB to 512GB.
